Luisana Loreley Lopilato was born on May 18, 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She's 5' 6¼" (1.68 m) tall. She has an older sister and brother who is also an actor. She's engaged to boyfriend and fellow actor Mariano Martinez who is 9 years older than her. She's Catholic, loves punk music and Stephen King books.

Her first movie role, which made her famous, was in 1999 when she was cased as Luisana Maza in Chiquititas (known in English as Tiny Angels), the longest running telenovela in history.
