Hmm I wouldn't say she's a hot eye candy though.
I sometimes think some ppl find not conventionally pretty Asians beautiful just for the exotic factor. We have a large Asian population here in Vancouver and you can see tons of girls prettier than Lucy on the street.
There just aren't many Asian actresses in Holywood so I guess she could be the best looking one around.

and yes theres tons of asian girls that are way prettier then lucy

It seems to me that really, really beautiful Asian girls don't get work
in L.A. because they would outshine the "stars."
That explains why that buggy-eyed Japanese girl (in the
photo beside Lucy Liu) got a part in Tarantino's
Kill Bill instead of this gorgeous woman, Norika Fujiwara,
known in Japan as the " J-phone girl." Chiaki Kuriyama isn't as striking as Uma is...

I think Norika woulda been too old for that part in Kill Bill. But yea she's pretty nonetheless (lots o PS though).
You know the Kano sisters were supposed to be Fukumi and Fukuyu in Austin Powers? They shoulda totally accepted the roles.

I wholeheartedly agree! An Asian, well, Asian-American actress whom I find really lovely is Kelly Hu. Lucy cannot compare.
