I sometimes think some ppl find not conventionally pretty Asians beautiful just for the exotic factor. We have a large Asian population here in Vancouver and you can see tons of girls prettier than Lucy on the street.
There just aren't many Asian actresses in Holywood so I guess she could be the best looking one around.

Kill Bill instead of this gorgeous woman, Norika Fujiwara,
known in Japan as the "J-phone girl." Chiaki Kuriyama isn't as striking as Uma is...

You know the Kano sisters were supposed to be Fukumi and Fukuyu in Austin Powers? They shoulda totally accepted the roles.
