that wanker who dated Chloe S -- who wrote in a script that
Raquel had two ribs removed on each side of her rib cage to give
her a more statuesque look. The studio lawyers told him that he would
get sued, so he changed it to Marlene Dietrich (who'd just died).

Still, Raquel was a real star.

My mum used to have her work out video in the 90's! I used to work out to it, oh it was so cheesy but fun. She did have a lovely figure in it. I wonder if there are any recent photographs of her? The rib thing I've never heard. Might have a look at google . . .

That's funny, I was just about to wonder aloud how so many stars of the past could be curvier than those today, yet still have much more defined waists. Whenever I look at pictures of 60s and 70s models and actresses, I'm always surprised by how slim their waistlines are.
