Vincent D'Onofrio [Actor]

Yeah he's hot!!
I think his CI character is supposed to be like that. He's odd and quirky and slightly autistic I think. They often allude to his schizophrenic mother and his behavior is also used to psyche out the suspects. Maybe it's not his acting per se but his direction.

We love this show and it is a running joke in our house...I will look at hubby and say "Damn that Bobby is smart" or he will look at me and say "they should have known better than to fuck with Goran".
I do think that he has alluded to his autism in a few episodes, and I think he had a pretty fucked up childhood....

There's an episode where a nerdy insurance adjuster with Aspergers Syndrome (high functioning autism) carries out 'random' murders of bogus people with big life policies which aren't random at all. Bobby Goran is almost sympathetic to the way the perp thinks and operates.

It took me a few years to decide that D'Onofrio's acting wasn't bad, just what he was supposed to be like (thanks to the lovers on this forum). Now I roll with it and trust that I'm supposed to understand it.

After seeing these photos of him in other venues -- I still might not understand him, but I don't care ... he's HOTT!!

Wow, that is my all time favorite episode of HLOTS. Vincent did an awesome job and was nominated for an award for his performance. I just can't rem if he won. That was the first time I saw him.

NO ONE could play Bobby Goren like Vincent. Perfection! Love him, totally.
