I really feel for Rob. He seems absolutely charming and adorable in interviews, and really, really seems like he's one of the few that didn't go into acting for the fame. I know he makes tons of money, but I'm not sure *I* would ever want to give up ever being able to walk in public without fear for my personal safety. I remember reading somewhere that the first thing he thinks about when he's in a crowd is how easily he could be stabbed at any moment, and about the time where he had a panic attack in the back of a car while the paps just shot away. Having panic disorder myself, I can totally relate ... when you're panicking, the last thing you want is more people screaming at you, pushing to get near you and flashes going off in your face. I just can't imagine. Poor kid ... he seems genuinely sweet ... and I've noticed that some of his biggest smiles look like they're reserved for the kids that are playing opposite him in some of the scenes (actually they look like they're between takes, but you know what I mean) for this current movie. Kinda melts my heart. But damn, kid, lay off the cigarettes.
ETA: Also, I think his security detail is abysmal. I don't know if the studio hired them or he hired them, but they don't appear to be doing that great of a job or they don't have enough of them.

I feel the same way. An interview he did back in May just came out today in a French mag. What he said just broke my heart I can't even imagine now.

I do pop in once in a while. The interview is quite sad. Let me know what you think.

So, do you really think he and Kristen are dating? I know there's numerous threads on here about it, but I can't keep up with them all.

I don't know. It is a possibility. What I do know is that there are a hell of alot of crazies out there who project the books onto them and see them as Edward and Bella and want them to be together so bad, it's kind of disturbing to be honest.
I think it's a bit intense the level to which this has all been brought up to. I mean even if they are dating, I don't see what the big deal is. For some people it would be the end of the world if they aren't.
Some people follow them around the world, literally. If they're shooting in Italy, they'll fly to Italy, when they're in Vancouver, they fly to Vancouver. They attend every event they go to. It's insane.
I liked Twilight and all but please, it's not one of the best movies there is out there.
I wouldn't blame Rob one bit if he quite everything after The Saga is done filming and I won't be surprised if he does.
I'll admit that I found out about Rob because of Twilight (although I had seen him in Harry Potter as well) but I have a very different perspective now. I like him for his other movies and music. He is a very grounded and funny person and I really like that about him.
Being bombarded by the hardcore twihards several times a day, I have to say that I've reached a point where Twilight almost makes me sick. I'm not even looking forward to New Moon all that much anymore.
On the other hand I can't wait to see Remember Me.
