Brando was beautiful, I loved him in Streetcar Named Desire, but he had several things about him that turn me off, his voice for starters! He had I believe 10 children by many different women and was known to be bisexual.

^Those pics with Monroe and the tickets are great! I always wondered if Brando was of ethnic mixed background, because of his nose and lips. Do you know?

Found this hilarious home movie of Brando with Monty Clift on YouTube. They're sooooo silly (and or drunk?)

No, he wasn't mixed. He broke his nose when he was performing Streetcar on stage. He was boxing with someone backastage and the guy broke his nose. Marlon was to appear in the next scene so he didn't have time to clean himself up, so he went on stage with blood dripping everywhere. I don't think Jessica Tandy was amused.
I would loved to of seen just one of his Streetcar stage performances!

I read somewhere he had French blood. If you want to be technical, that area of the world is a melting pot dating way back, so you never know what you can get. Who cares, beauty is beauty and he had it.

Someone called him "gorgeous" when he was young. I don't think that's the word I would use. More like "handsome" and "hot". It's more to do with the impression he gave off than his mere beauty.

Well, I'm interested, because I'm of mixed blood. And because in the case of Elvis, who was also mixed from both sides of the family, it was always claimed he was a "white boy with a black voice", when before US law in many states he officially would have to be considered colored....

I am of mixed blood too. No one ever knows what I am. Where I am now, the latin culture has laid claim and I have not one drop of latin blood.
Elvis is definitely of African roots. There are many "whites" who are so obviously mixed, it's amusing that they claim to be white.
The biography I read said Marlon did have French blood and the family name was Brandeaux. Will we ever know? Could it be he is of both? He has features that could be German, but some are much more French in appearance.
Regardless, the man had a good mix of genes.

No, Elvis was predominantly Native American (Cherokee) and a bit Jewish/Scottish/Irish, too. The Cherokee blood runs on both sides of the family. He wanted to go public in the sixties, but management decided against it. They did often have little hints about his ancestry in his crappy movies.
