I'm guessing the magazine your friend brought was a visual kei magazine? Visual kei artists do crossdress a bit and wear extravagant, effeminate clothing, but most of them dress like ordinary people in daily life. Visual kei rockers do not represent how the general public dresses.
That was just bothering me, had to get it off my chest.
As for Gackt... I don't like the man...at all. He looks plastic and claims he's a vampire and god's gift to women.  There's just something really icky about him. And to think, so many women think he is sexy.

i'm sorry for offending but in fact you we're right she probably meant that alot of japanese rockers choose to be visual kei or something like that, i didn't mean to offend you and i had my facts wrong but this was a while ago so i don't really remember the whole conversation so to everyone who took offense I'M SORRY!
