He's cute. Another Korean hottie is Rick Yune, who was the villain in the Bond flick "Die Another Day." I went to university with him. He transferred in from another school. He was cute then too!

He was in House of Daggers. My friend (who is a big fan of his, got 2 gigantic posters of him in her room) has this theory that mixed Asians are hot. He's half Taiwanese, half Japanese. Her bf is also half Korean, half Chinese so she's prolly very biased.
I'm Japanese but I gotta agree with you, not too many handsome Japper actors. Most are all too feminine for my taste but some older Asian actors are cool in my opinion e.g. Andy Lau

another guy you might like is jae hee. he was amazing in bin-jip (also called '3-iron'), but then that whole movie is brilliant

I love Takeshi!! He was so HOT in House of Flying Daggers. I'm glad you found some good pix, bc I really couldn't find any that showed how handsome he is. I think he just looks kinda feminine in most pix. Guess he just looks better in movies.

I agree, and though I think he's quite good looking, as is the other one whose pic was posted later in the thread, I'm always a bit suspicious of goodlooking Japanese men. Mainly because there's A LOT of PS going on over there, even with the regular people. So it's hard to tell if his cute nose, good jawline etc. are from mother nature or from a good plastic surgeon

Is he mixed by any chance?

he's mixed got teased alot in school when he was younger because of it, he's rumoured to be gay. he's extremely media shy. i love this guy though, he was so gorgeous in turn left, turn right.

i wonder if he has any new films coming out soon? i hope so! thanks for the extra pix, edison! while i think he's pretty hot to just look at, i really think you have to see some of his movies to fully appreciate his talents, and all that is....takeshi!
