Short bio:

Jon Bon Jovi was born as John Francis Bongiovi on March 2, 1962 in New Jersey.
He is married to Dorothea Hurley, his high school sweetheart and together they have four kids: Stephanie Rose, Jesse James Louis, Jacob Hurley and Romeo Jon.

He spent much of his teenage years cutting classes to play guitar and sing in local rock bands. In those years, he decided to drop the J from his name.

His early singing was assisted by his cousin, Tony Bongiovi, who owned a well-known recording studio in NYC named Power Station. Jon was hired as a janitor, and later began recording demos at the studio.

In 1996, he was chosen as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world and in year 2000, he was given the title "Sexiest Rock Star", both by People Magazine. In 2006, Bon Jovi, his band, became the first rock band to have a number one hit on the country charts.

On year 2005, during an appearance on the Oprah show, the Bon Jovi band donated $1,000,000 to Oprah Winfrey for her Angel Network foundation. He also has donated more than $25,000 dollars to the Democratic Party.

I loved Bon Jovi in the 80's. Thought they were the greatest. Now that I'm in my 30's, I laugh at that thought - what was I thinking??? I'll blame it on my youth.

Although, I will admit, he's aged very, very well. FORTY FOUR - yeah, that is impressive.

He was one of my first celeb crushes in the 80's, and even though I am in my thirties, I think he still might be. He looks so hot and really sweet. I especially love the picture of him with nothing but the blanket. That may be the stuff dreams are made of.
