Holy shit...I remember his Dad being carried off the field like 3 times in a single game. It was actually comical. Who the hell kept letting him go back in to play? Only to be carried off--on a stretcher again? It was GREAT! God I love the NFL. There better be a damn season coming up or someones getting hurt.

I cannot even contemplate not having a season. I remember that bullshit back, when the hell was it, 1987? The scabs....it SUCKED. Fuck that. No way. You made my day by remembering that too. I could have sworn that Winslow Sr was playing for Miami at the time, but makes total sense. My father, who HATED football actually watched some of that game with me (& my two brothers) that day and STILL brings up Winslow. Swear to God. And everytime I hear Jr being announced I actually think for one small second its Sr....coming in again from off the stretcher! I do!

It's a noun that can be used for either American Football or what we call 'soccer' here in the States and 'football' everywhere else. It wasn't a problem or misleading when I used it for Eric Decker's thread so it shouldn't be one now. However, if the mods could fix the title to add an 'o,' because I don't know what a 'fotballer' is eitherfoot·ball·er
