He looks much better now he's put on a little weight - around the time he made The Time Machine about 4 years ago he looked like Marc Anthony/Skeletor. Word is he'd had some kind of nervous breakdown.

i agree, he looks great when he has normal weight. i've got the first shock when i saw him in memento, lookwise that wasn't the guy i knew and found hot

I walked right by him (I forgot the city in Oz) in Jan 2002, my girlfriend told me afterwards that we passed by right by Guy Pearce and I did remember a scraggly, skinny not-too-attractive male. He was definitely in that skinny period.

Is he a little ish? I never thought so until that moment in L.A. Confidential (one of my absolute fave movies, btw) when he and Bud White are in What'shisface's house, guns drawn, coming down the stairs and around a brightly-lit corner. I'm sure nobody knows what I'm talking about, though...

Anyway: I LOVE GUY PEARCE! He's a fantastic actor.

He was on Neighbors? I should've known. When I studied in London, I sometimes got to watch that show. I really liked it! There wasn't a bad actor among them.

I loved him on Neighbours! I loved him in Priscilla Queen of the Desert! What a hot cross dresser he made. LA confidential, memento etc. proved he was a great actor. He is highly underrated.

Where is he nowadays, anyway? He's absolutely lovely. Also, he didn't get enough credit for L.A. Confidential or Memento.

He used to babysit my oldest brother back when he lived in Melbourne Australia, he was my Mum's neighbour. She said he's lovely, or was back then. He wasn't famous yet, we all know what fame can do to change a person.
