Bros Gunnar/Matthew Nelson and Sam Nelson [Musicians]

Was anyone else hot for the Nelson twins Matthew and Gunnar in the early 90's? I know I was....yep, I was hot somethin' fierce for those two blond-haired, blue-eyed, spandexed wonder twins. Remember "After the Rain" and "Love and Affection" and "More than Ever"? I still have the CD and I still love it.

Today, they look a bit like Ellen. I still love them but I have discovered their little brother, Sam. He looks just like their dad, who was Ricky Nelson (deceased hottie singer). Sam is just fuckin' HOT TO TROT. MY GOD. He has a band called H is Orange.

I'm not good at putting pics up on here yet. I can never figure out how y'all find all those pics. If ya find some, could you post them? Don't forget old and new Nelson pics. They were soooooo yummy when they were younger. One of them, Gunnar, lives here in Nashville. I've heard he was gay.

The old dude is James Burton, who was the guitar player in Ricky Nelson's and Elvis' band. Like I said, the twins look like Ellen now but Sam is a stud. I still love the whole Nelson family. What a saga that has been.

Sam is very nice looking, but I think I see some resemblance to his uncle Mark Harmon too.

Haven't heard anything about him since he was a kid and the custody battle for him between Mark Harmon and Pam Dawber, and Sam's mom, Harmon's sister.

The whole custody battle thing was the last I had heard of him, too. Then a few years ago, I saw something about Sam and his band H is Orange. Sam has some type of condition in which he sees letters as colors. Synth-something. Quite interesting. Anyway, he sees the letter H as orange.

I do see some Harmon in him, too, in his eyes, I think. The other 3 are eat up with Harmon. I loooooooooooove Mark Harmon. He's still a hot piece o' ass. Thanks for that People link, btw.

I haven't figured out how to link stuff yet (dumbass) but there's a clip on youtube in which all three Nelson bros sing their dad's song Garden Party. Such good harmony. Talented human beings. Sam reminds me so much of his dad through looks and voice. *sighs....

You're thinking of synesthesia. It's interesting.

Synesthesia: A condition in which normally separate senses are not separate. Sight may mingle with sound, taste with touch, etc. The senses are cross-wired. ^^I have two (female) friends with this condition. Actually, it's more like a quirk than condition. Like my useless ability to remember every single phone number ever given to me. I still remember my phone number when I was 4.

Yes, this is exactly what I was talking about. I find it fascinating. It just makes him all the more hot to me. I just cannot find any info about Sam Nelson, except for the pic posted above, the synesthesia info, his band info (I listened and though his voice is very good, clear and strong, it's not my kind of sound).

It's the one in the middle, Sam, who I'm in lust with. The twins were at their hottest in the early 90's...they looked much less lesbian-ish then. Is there really a "men who look like lesbians" thread? That's got my name all over it.

"some old dude..." That made me LOL! Oh, it's just James Burton. One of the greatest guitar players who ever lived!

Yeah, the Youtube video to this is amazing. The "Brothers Nelson" singing "Garden Party" is a precious tribute to their dad.

And correction: Gunnar is on the far left, and Matthew is on the far right on the other side of Tracy.

BTW, someone needs to tell Gunnar to stay away from brown velour. (This must've been made pre-"Celebrity Fit Club".)
