Every house I have lived at was the last one on the street next to the corner-even the mobile home I live in now-on a busy corner. And they were all fairly busy streets too. My whole life-living on the corner. I will be the crazy old man who lives on the corner one day(not too far off I think).

It would actually seem odd to me to live in the middle of a block or in a cul-de-sac.

Living on a busy corner is also good if you are nosy.

argh i want this house so bad! I would put a giant wall around it anyways to block out the shit and for some added privacy, in LA no one cares about their neighbors feelings towards their house & neighborhood anyways - assholes build gigantic mcmansions on these tiny lots not giving a fuck how it affects the rest of the neighborhood or the shadow it creates on their next door neighbors

I grew up on a corner lot for 17 years, it was great. We had a really big backyard with lots of space to play when we were younger. As I got older and my sisters and I had cars we had ample parking. The way our lot was set up the street naturally turned so there was no cross street and traffic had to slow down quite a bit. It was really nice.

I can't buy it, but whenever I'm having a bad day (which is always ) I google the house and just stare at it - I printed it out and put a wall around it that I would want and I just fantasize about it even before I go to bed, all the sex I would have in every room and the pool true story guy, thats what I fantasize about.... ahhhhhh

I have a corner lot and only draw back has been that zoning considers me to have 2 front yards. That means I must meet all set back requirements and had to locate the pool a little more back than I had wanted.
