Wow, $700 is considered cheap? OK, I know it's in Manhattan where everything's expensive... but I could rent a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment (or house) for that price here in my city.

no way. I pay slightly over that for my apartment in Brooklyn (near two express trains and by a park/museums, so it's not very far out.) I have a roommate who is hardly home, but we have a huge place, including a guest room and plenty of space between us if we need it. There's hardly a location in all of NYC that would make me compromising that much comfort/lack of kitchen/inability to sleep/shit/have guests over worth it. The building would have to have a TON of amenities, and this isn't even a doorman building. Can't believe she's been there 3 years.

I am not claustrophobic but looking at those pictures made me a little uneasy. I will never bitch about the small rooms in this house again (much). I pay $700 a month for a 3 bedroom, 1-bath, huge fenced in back yard house, but I'm way down south, too.

I realize Manhattan is expensive, but I can't help but feel she's being had. Couldn't she likely pay a *little* more and get a whole lot more space for her money? I mean, come on...

So if she had a friend stay over the first night, where did they sleep - on the toilet sitting sideways?

She should get rid of most of her stuff, that'd leave her more space.

She was on the Good Morning America show this morning. Wow, she has been there 3 years. Doesnt seem to bother her in the least. She is a professional organizer so she has a place for everything she needs. 1 dish to eat off of lol.
And she is a yoga instructer, which comes in handy when you have a "sleepover' lol. Shes living her dream of living in new York. No thank you

Oh yes, that place with the 2 cats. No thank you. Poor cats was the first thing I thought.

I don't know how they do it. I lived in studios when I lived in France and while they were bigger than this, I struggled in them. I can't imagine how 2 people get by in such a teeny space! Not to mention 2 cats!! It must really have a cat smell.

she sucks as a professional organizer. I'm so anal when it comes to organization. We live in a 700 sq ft apt (we pay 700 bucks a month). its little, but i have it all organized, and it doesn't look cluttered at all.
