Oh gag - that's disgusting. If Grimm wants to go retro and likes green/grey why not get this 1950/60s icon? She has red lippy - it might be all you need to justify those lamps. Yeah, this would work darl.

I LOVE the red lamp. I'd like it if it actually was pink too, but then it would have to go in the bedroom.

I has lamp-shade very similar to the "glass within glass" ones at the top, I had them in the hall of a new apartment I used to have. They were 10 each & I got them from a D-I-Y shop... bargin!
I like the blue & silver lamp - A LOT!!!

LMAO, my great-grandmother had that sunburst clock in the parlor that no one was allowed to sit in.

You'd be amazed how popular avocado/orange still is here and I don't mean as a hommage to retro. People NEVER redecorate! Another popular feature is that amber coloured glass in hallways that sucks every ounce of light out of the room and casts a spooky and depressing yellow gloom over everything. That, linked with exposed redbrick internal walls and, gasp, dark wood cladding (aka wainscotting?) on every vertical surface, and ceilings too, makes for the Mission Brown Experience that was Aussie interior design in the 1970s.

And if people don't have that they go for the glamorous 1980s look of pink leather sofas, animal prints, blue/grey walls, cream carpets and glass topped dining tables with large plastic flower arrangements and ceramic leopards aka the Florida Condominium Look.

I like the clock. We had one when I was growing up as well along with the mango and avocado colored kitchen, etc.
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!
