I like it a lot except the wall of faux books. Those white chairs in the fourth pic are the best thing about the entire place.

I actually like this wallpaper, but you'd probably get tired of it really quickly.

This wallpaper I hate, get a real bookcase for fuck sake.

I like some of the details in the house but as a whole, no thank you. But at least there's some personality here. I think a lot of things are so plain and dull these days.

This place looks like something out of a suburban horror movie.

I'm completely dizzy after looking at all those slanted books (what kind of library would ever have them like that?) and also baffled at the idea of it being 'English'. Because it's a bit chintzy in places? That's like saying that a few pearls makes you look like Grace Kelly! More to the point, the only Brits that would ever have a union jack as part of the decor are members of the BNP (political party that's slightly to the right of Attila the Hun).

My gawd the bookcase wallpaper. Having that mess of books permanently there would drive me crazy. I would pick orderly stacked books wallpaper.

I'm English and I fail to see the connection, too. I think the whole place is godawful, especially the busy wallpaper and the nasty faux bookshelves. The whole place needs to be gutted and started over.

It would depend on whether or not it had a hole drilled into its nethers as part of the design...

Agree with all. What a nasty disappointment this thread was.

there's some funny shit in that place; the lone sheep grazing, the fucking IPAD chilling in a frame, the wallpaper made to look like a library. i like it, its cool and obviously very customized to this person which i also can respect as i have made my entire place into a red and black and animal-print extravaganza!

Alice, you should share some pics of that with us. Sounds cool.

I love it's location. Not for someone who likes to stumble drunkenly into the house after a big night.
