    That's what i was thinking too. It seems like there would be a problem with the moisture seeping in. Other than that, i absolutely love it. The view is spectacular and i love the space.

    If you take another look at the photos from different angles, you can tell that the sea does not come right up against the house. Those pics look like they were taken at pretty high tide, and even on a stormy day I don't think you'd get anything more than spray against the windows.

    They are not tidal wave or tsunami prone there, either.

    I'd still wonder about the basement, though.

    I love this, too.
    I think the table chairs are a bit old and out of place, and I don't like the zebra rugs, but everything else is great.
