Default Do you like this Minnesota home?

While this recently built Minnesota home is magnanimous in feel and execution, it also borrows from humble rural and farm traditions in its inspirations. Built with a linear floor plan that follows the path of a river along the property's border, one wing of the home serves as public space, while the other wing includes private bedrooms and dens

A house cannot be 'magnanimous' really..that term really applies to something or someone that is self aware in normal usage. This is really a stretch. 'Great souled'-but more in action/deeds, or thoughts, not in 'just being' really. Very poor choice of descriptive term.

    House is ok..but NOT 'magnanimous'.

Default Miami Beach home: tacky or fabulous?

This Miami Beach manse, the former home of fashion designer Gianni Versace, is a study in opulence.

The outside is close to gorgeous, the inside is terrible. Not my taste AT ALL.

A bit overdone, but I've seen (in person) much tackier. It reminds me of the mansion they used in "The Jerk", although I believe that one burned down in real life.

Like very much, except for that color-scheme and padded-wall crap in the bedroom. Love the 50's turquoise in the living room, though. LOVE.

Well, I'd say that's where good taste goes to die, but considering the previous owner, it might be a tad insensitive.

I'm pretty neutral about it, but I just want to say I HATE the art on the walls. Ugh, flowers, and colour-coordinated with the decor, to boot!
