I love it! I would not need the ladder part. Would be great as well without it-is that an option?

honestly, it's a little stuffy and dark and massive for me but then i'm not into the antique look. but if that's your style, go for it.

It's abit grand for my liking, but that ladder looks so fun, I know how much you love them Laurent

My grandmother left me her antique wall unit bookcase and all of her books. (she was an educator so I now own some very interesting and valuable books. My most prized possessions.) Mine is not nearly as ornate as the one pictured but it's just as tall and wide. I don't have a ladder so I have to stand on a chair to reach the top shelves.

dimensions aren't listed, but by comparing it to the arm of that chair to the right, it doesn't even look like a unit that is tall enough to necessitate the use of that ladder. when i think a bookshelf with ladder, it's a lot bigger than that unit.

Hideously overbearing. Blech. It looks like it smells dank and musty already.

Good, it won't clash with its owner.

Not my style, but I would possibly go for a more modern/contemporary version of it.....

Ummm...yeah. I knew a gay man owned it the instant I laid eyes on the foyer/entryway. Looks just like the apartments or houses of every single gay male friend of mine I have ever been in.

Not that that's a bad thing! (channeling Seinfeld) I actually would like the place if it had that stuff in a much larger place. As it is, I am thinking, Somebody decorated their mini-storage! Love the colors (yeah, I like bright and LOUD) but he needs to lose about 5000 knick-knacks and a couple hundred paintings.

Like my dearly departed mother used to say about overly-accessorized women, "She's wearing all her money on her back." So's this guy.

There is entirely too much going on in that place. My brain hurts just looking at it. It's too little space for so much...everything.
