Not lovin' the starkness of it all. But I suppose it would do in a pinch.

I love the view! The decor is tacky, but not as bad as i expected. I do like the exterior, but i would get rid of those tacky statues. If I were to buy this place, i would definitely have a dumpster waiting outside to clean out all the tacky decor, so i could start fresh on decorating.

It does need color, but I could handle living there.

I hate the floor mats and the patterns on just about everything. Move all that out and it is a beautiful home.

the house itself isn't bad but i'd have to burn everything inside. the furniture, artwork, cheesy paint job and carpets make me want to vomit.

Talk about determination: An artist decided that an ancient timber house was her dream home, but it just wasn't in her dream location. Her solution? Dismantle the house board by board, and ship it to the south of Sweden. Voila! Now her favorite home is in her favorite landscape.

    Default Home in the Hamptons

Architect Carlos Brillembourg bought a 60-foot Southampton site and its accompanying two-room cottage in 1998 for $275,000. There, he and his wife, artist Karin Waisman, spent summers as newlyweds. "It was like camping out,” Karin told the New York Times.

The birth of their daughter, Antonia, necessitated a sturdier structure. After drawing up plans together, the two spent a year building the three-bedroom home, whose carefully modulated height (the 14-foot living room ceiling in the living room, the study on a mezzanine with a 7.5-foot ceiling, etc.) defies the long, rectangular site.

Karin and Carlos sunk her large studio underground to preserve their home’s modest appearance. “The spectacle shouldn’t be the house,” Carlos told the Times. “It should be the life that takes place in the house.”

If it belonged to George Clooney, I'd love it. Otherwise, nofuckingway.
