now I like stark. I dig the minimalist look ... but this person has to actually have some things. Where are their books?

It's not bad, it seems very dark and gloomy though.

It's obviously unoccupied at the moment but furnished for viewings but that's OK. Better than being full of clutter and crap. Beverly Hills and no pool? LOL Loving the LA smog backdrop in the last pic.

Oh, and the bar in Pic #8. I'm very sorry but if people think a twee home bar is klassy (or necessary) they need to get back to the trailerpark.

Default Do you like this Hollywood Hills house?

According to Big Time, Channing Tatum purchased a three-bedroom, 2,538-square-foot house in the Hollywood Hills, which was recently on the market for $2.9 million. According to listing info, the house, which looks to be the offspring of Swiss Family Robinson and The Jungle Book, boasts:
three baths, a separate den/media room, a bonus floor, a curved teak staircase, and flagstone fireplaces and patios, [ . . .] second-floor master suite with floor-to-ceiling windows, wraparound terraces, and 12-foot pitched wood and beam ceilings that give the feel of a "Balinese tree house."

My childhood home had a real parquet floor which my sainted mother cared for like a baby. She waxed and polished that sucker every weekend for years. It paid off mind you - we had a Big Freeze and the pipes burst flooding the ground floor and the parquet was so well sealed it survived. I LOVE wooden floors. Gives me an excuse to put gorgeegous rugs on them.

Hmmmmm very Bali. Obviously not occupied at the moment but yes, with more colour I could do something with this. The dining chairs are hideous.

No kidding! I usually like this style, too, but this is just a bit too much of it.
