Once Joan Crawford was hosting a house party and Loretta was a guest. When she got up to use the powder room, someone who just arrived went to go sit in the chair where Loretta was sitting. "Don't sit there!", Joan said. "Loretta Young was sitting in that seat - it probably has the Mark of the Cross on it!".

There isn't a place in this house that feels comfortable to live in.

Weird, even with all the light and the open floor plan, it makes me feel claustrophobic.

It's probably the circular shape, I think it fucks with everything having to accomodate it.
