My cousin had a purple bedroom although not as full on as this, but I loved that room - it was purple trimmed with silver and even her little wastepaper basket was covered in silver glitter and purple striped wallpaper.

Oh lord. I love purple but that's pathological. Maybe the owner is moving because even s/he can't stand to look at purple another minute.

Honestly, I think it's not that bad. If they take out the ugly purple carpet from every room and changed it to a tan. Tone down some of the walls to a lighter shade of lavender...same with the curtain, I could live there. It wouldn't take much to make it better. But I have been on some heavy duty cough medicine so you may want to just forget about everything I just said.

It'd be like living inside a migraine.

I understand what you are saying - (drugged and all) the bones of the house itself are quite nice - you just have to get rid of the bulk of the purple crap.

It looks like something an 8 year old would create in The Sims.

Hillingdon. I suspect purple features highly in the cultural aesthetics of the people who probably live here. They've just taken it to the max. I'm surprised they haven't put purple stone cladding on the outside too.

If you replaced all the carpets with something else...grey, perhaps, I could stand it. Oh, and ceramic tile in the kitchen and bath

Looks like a cartoon and it actually did make me feel a bit ill looking at those photos. It's so horribly ugly.
