And what kind of broke ass building doesn't have central air?

that's nyc. wiring these old buildings for central air would cost a fortune as well as be too invasive to the building's structure (so i'm told). i'm always amazed by this when i go there. you go by expensive residential hotels like the ritz and they all have old air conditioners hanging out the windows.

    i love the apartment.

I think it is freaking gorgeous and I am in lust with that kitchen.

Lovely apartment but I doubt she's buying it - the bathroom is a peeper's paradise & she likes her privacy too much.

I loved the first few photos but the whole place is a bit impersonal (not that that's JA's fault). I love that kitchen but the cabinets would look better if they were a few shades darker. Love the carrerra too but it stains.

The bathroom is gorgeous but impractical. What are you going to do when you shower or sit on the toliet? There must be some high tech shades hidden away or something.

I like it more and more each time I look at it. If I had that kind of place, I'd move to NY too.

Re the open bathroom - there has to be some kind of provision for taking a private wizz, right? That would be rather disconcerting.

A bit more color -- I actually love the green--- and a little more character would make it perfect, but it's pretty spectacular as is. Maybe the bathroom windows have some high-tech coating on them so people can't see in.

Who the fuck needs a man and kids when you have this and a Malibu beach house.

It's perfect. It even as a children's room/nursery for the baby Jen longs to have!

It really is a very nice space and I would love to have it.

Her Malibu "beach house" was a rental. Her Hal Levitt designed house is in Bev Hills.

I don't really know about her life and houses, so it is all mixed up to me.
