My kitchen, living room, and any area that company would see is usually pretty clean. Keyword "usually".

Unfortunately, my son has taken after me, and his bedroom is also a disaster. He only cleans it when he wants to have a friend over to spend the night, otherwise, we just keep the door shut.

My garage is clean and organized. Go figure.
    Yay, you have "fort"!

I think that most of us with kids can tell you, most of the time, there's going to be that "cluttered and lived in" look that you ALMOST can't escape...

Kill everything... that IS the solution!

Pigsty pretty much sums it up. Before my son I was a neat freak. Now he comes in like Oscar Madison and drops everything as he walks. I've been on his ass about it for so long that sometimes I just give up.
Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me….it only means the night is coming.

...and I chuckle every damn time I do it! I always think "what if other people could see this, they'd never believe it!" By the time I make it to my bed, I'm exhausted! My cat doesn't even bother to try anymore. Thank goodness there are a couple big windows, 'cuz if there was ever a fire, the return tunnel thing would be a bit scary!

I was thinking about this, and although my house can get messy, I don't think it is ever dirty. I get out theSPAM and vacuum several times a week and always clean up after I'm done cooking. So, the house is always clean and germ free, but sometimes stuff piles up and makes it look messy.

It's no longer a dog whistle, it's a fucking trombone

All of God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.

The bedroom is the constant battle. Other than that, clean.
