One of my Sims families from way back in 2000 had a really similar house (it's a video game by the way)

It's all kinds of no. Like a cheap, cardboard, 1960's or 1970's sci-fi series set.

The only thing I noticed through all the terrible color is the water damage on the ceilings around the skylights. Obviously they spent a lot of money on those furnishings over the years and all that time, but they couldn't be bothered enough to fix the water damage?

I kinda love the sunken living room too. It's tacky but awesome.
The house is awful, too much colour, too much crap, too much going on. That said, it would be a fun place to spend a weekend partying in, preferably with lots of drugs.

That carpet looks nasty and this reminds me of the Gobbler.

I agree. The ceiling drywall in the first few photos is atrocious. Paint just magnifies sloppy drywall work, it doesn't hide it.

Great place to get drunk and/or high. Could have a really fun party there but that's about it.
