*sniff* I miss fall. I'll probably turn on the heater towards the end of Nov, for a day or so to chase away the cold from the tile. Anyways what Mel said, "it's still hotter than a whore on Friday night."

Usually sometime in Oct. I wait until the temp indoors drops below 60. I prefer my house on the colder side. I'm getting a fireplace installed so I'm hoping to spend the winter snuggled up to it rather than kicking on my furnace.

oh, boy! I grew up in the area you live now Beeyotch (the valley), and that area is extremely hot in the summertime. You'll adapt though. I'm sure Barcelona has its heat issues, no?

Yeah, it went down to 41 here and that's too cold for me. I've been keeping my apt. warm the past couple days with a big pot of boiling water on the stove. Shoulda started taking my Red Marine Algae much sooner this year. Got a nasty sore throat and cold from the thrift store the other day. I wasn't careful enough. Two days later - BAM. This is my third day of vegetating on the couch, hope it's the last.

It is a balmy 66 degrees and sunny here-clear as a bell. Did you all see the moon last night? BEAUTIFUL. Started off big & orange!

I like it cold too, but my husband and kitties are complaining, so I have been starting fires in our wood-burning stove after dinner, for the last week. In a few weeks, when it begins snowing off and on, I'll start them in the morning.

I've learned to change into my sleepwear early in the evening during the cold months, or I end up sleeping in my clothes. Too dang cold to change.

I usually have my bra half off the second I shut the door behind me, lol. Same with tights or pantyhose, which I rarely wear anyway. I always get into comfortable clothes as soon as I get home. I can't believe I used to wear tight jeans and all that stuff right up until I went to bed.

Oh my God! Was it beautiful or what? My son went on the patio with his telescope when I pointed it out to him - I had heard on the news that it was going to look 20% bigger than usual and be brighter. It was fabulous! And this weather?? i've ran neither heater nor air conditioner in over a week. I just throw open 3 of the patio doors and let the breeze blow. My absolute FAVORITE time of year!

Pretty freaking soon here, I tell you what. Our basement (where the office is) is freezing, though I actually hate having the heat on when I'm down there since it comes from ceiling vents and makes me feel sick. I prefer just to use a space heater down there. Our bedroom is cold at night, but an extra blanket is enough so far. I mainly just like the furnace on for the main floor, since it's drafty and pretty awkward to actually do anything when cocooned in blankets, lol. I would kill to have a fireplace on the main floor.

They obviously do not turn it on in our office building ever!
