If you watch enough "House Hunters", you would not be surprised to see a back yard in a desert state that looks like this. A lot of the yards shown are completely unfinished and look like an empty lot.

Well whatever you want to call the ugly 'back yard', it would be easy enough to fix-the ugly of the house itself is, unfortunately, forever!
And it will only get uglier with it's new occupants.
That yard is typical for Arizona. You could have nice lawn, but you would have to waste water to have it. I think this house is nice for a 20 year old girl. I lived in a studio hell hole at that age.
She got a great deal!

Alot of FRONT lawns around here are like that too. Ick!
My grace is sufficient for you, for my my strength is made perfect in weakness...I love you dad!
Maricopa is quite a drive from ASU. And yes this is a typical home out there. Our yard kinda looked like that when we bought our house. We put in cactus, trees and flowers and we extended the patio. Xeriscaping is the way to go here. I had a house with a grass lawn and it was expensive and a pain in the ass to maintain.
If you live in a desert, having a lawn is stupid.
I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
