    Default Before and after: kitchen

    Before

Honey-colored cabinets, terra-cotta counters, and a peninsula made the 228-square-foot kitchen feel crowded.

    After

    the old kitchen was horrible.

i don't think they pulled off the new kitchen. i understand that they were trying mix colors/cabinetry, etc. which i've seen look really nice but having two different cabinet colors & styles, different counter tops, door pulls, etc. just looks stupid.

I don't think they pulled it off either. Too many colors. It looks choppy and thrown together.

Well the new kitchen is not bad, but really we only have one really bad pic of the old to compare it too, now right?
Plus there are other ways to lighten up a room besides white cabinets..damn do these people actually have to clean those things? white in high use/traffic/food/cooking areas is a bitch. Just having white appliances(mine) is a bitch..you have to constantly wipe that shit down.
