    Default A New York loft

i like this a lot. except the bedroom is too colourful (not relaxing at all).
and does anyone remember who the designer of the chest of drawers made of suitcases is? i've loved that thing since i saw it at MoMA.

    their furniture is universally ugly.

wtf happened to sleek, contemporary, cool stuff? Why this sudden hodgepodge of flea market horror?

i mostly like it! those blue velvet sectionals looks great in that room. i also really dig that little orange loveseat & the boomerang-type table next to it. the galley style kitchen is great, too. the concrete floors are sweet, too...love how they have old paint showing though.

i dislike that weird chest of drawers held together by a belt thing...we had a thread on it here last year some time when we used to have the love it/hate it threads. i just can't get over what a bitch it would be to dust.

Jesus. When these types try to be interesting, they really go overboard, don't they?
The kitchen area is the best part of this chaotic, artsy fartsy "I wanna be unique" mess.
And the space itself is great with the windows, but that's about it.

A little overboard for me, but lots of things I like. I agree about those blue-velvet sectionals. Really cool.

I like the space, some of the furniture is way overboard though. I LOVE that first spiral sculpture thing since it makes me feel dizzy and high just looking at it! . I like the kitchen, but I really dislike the end of that tabletop/counter thing-it makes me want to sit at it, but with that stuff hanging under it, you can't.

There is enough space that they should remove the end 'clinging' storage space and put some chairs/stools there so you can sit down!-just take about half of the suspended part off, at the end.
Nice natural light and views of course.
