    Default New York attitude

Architect Richard Meier and interior designer Rose Tarlow collaborated on the renovation of a couple’s 2,500-square-foot Central Park apartment. Above: In the entrance hall, Tarlow devised slotted doors that afford privacy but still let light flood in on a slab of ancient Roman marmo africano and the building’s original mail chute.

A bit blah and the kitchen is just so white.

I'm not a fan of the white walls and I hate the kitchen.

i like the actual space, the wood, the shelves, etc.
but i'd have to change a lot of the furniture. i love the dining room and the office has nice furniture but is entirely too beige, and all the beige sofas and armchairs in the living room have to go, need something to contrast a bit with all the light wood.

i like the kitchen too. but the whole thing needs artwork.

still, must be nice to get richard fucking meier to renovate your flat...

The putty colored paint in the office/library is hideous! Still, I love the space and sans the furniture, plus a little color and art, I could live there, definitely.

    Too bland.

What is it? A library? An office? It's not that bad (except for the lack of color and atmosphere) but it doesn't look like a home. It's empty, vapid, lifeless.
