Default How to wallpaper your fridge

FROM THE LATE GREAT DOMINO MAGAZINE ONLINE SITE:

How to Wallpaper your fridge - Time Out New York

I don't know how long the site will be up, but for now this is one article I wanted to share with GR.

it could work, depending on the kitchen. i don't care for either of those two examples, though. in that second pic...if the cabinetry was different & that junk on top of the fridge was gone, i'd like the effect of the wallpapered fridge.

on a side note, i am bummed that domino magazine is no more...i was pretty surprised when i got an email from them the other day saying that.

I need to do something to my washing machine. The front is rusting from spraying spray in wash on my jeans and looks like shit!

i guess it depends on the kitchen and on the fridge.
i like my fridge. it's stainless and i like to keep it cluttered with magnets and postcards and pictures of whatever strikes my fancy.

I agree. And 'redecorating' is a snap. My fridge is black.

Not a bad idea.. but I'd go for something more 'wall sticker' like.

Make sure you research trends before you buy. You don't want to get in at the end of the trend, which I have read that stainless steel is on its way out. Colored appliances are the next big thing. Even something that you think is classic now can make your kitchen look dated 5 years from now.

We built our house in 1997 and we have white appliances. By mid 2000's, everyone started having stainless steel, so our kitchen looks dated. We would like to redo our kitchen but I'm waiting a couple of years to see what the next trend is, so that we get in on the beginning of it and not the end of it.

i like coloured fridges. i want a shiny bright blue one. but since i rent my flat and it came with the stainless steel fridge, i'm keeping it.
the only thing i hate are fridges with cabinet fronts because you can't stick magnets to them. and i love my shakespeare insults magnets.

Hmmm...never thought about wallpaper--mine's always been covered in magnets too.

I just painted my old white refrigerator black. Finally, all my kitchen appliances match!

I hate my stainless steel appliances, worst investment ever! Always runs marks from the water dispenser, I am constantly spraying and buffing prints, ugh, I hate it. Black is even worse, white is perfect. Wallpaper? I dont care for it
