    Default Exposing the bare bones

Koray Duman, an architect from Turkey, recently renovated the East Village apartment he bought in January of 2007

The 600-square-foot apartment, with its tangle of tiny rooms, had six windows, three exposures and an unusual floor plan. "I felt I could create an efficient layout with spaces that would function well," he said.

By removing walls, Duman merged the living room, dining area and bedroom into one space

I like what he did with it-600 sq ft is really tiny. I would hate the bathroom right by the kitchen!

I like the layout, but I hate brick walls - painted or bare.
I find the majority of this too cold for my tastes, but I like his kitchen, I like his kitchen a lot!

He's the yummiest thing about the apartment, but I do think he did a great job with a tiny space.

Me too. I can't accept that.

I like the look of the painted brick, but I can't help but think it would feel cold in there.
