Default Before and after: a bathroom remodel

New Jersey residents Mark and Linda Beckelmen decided that it was high time to renovate the bathroom in their 1929 craftsman. They wanted to stick to a reasonable budget, and upgrade the bathroom with green features. As it stood, their bathroom was dated by laminate and wallpaper that needed to go elsewhere stat.

Working with a local designer who specializes in green renovations, the Beckelmens chose products such as concrete-and-recycled-glass countertops, sustainable wood cabinets, a dual flush toilet, and sconces that use CFLs.

    It's nice.

I really like it. I'd love to see the rest of the house.

So would I! I love craftsman style homes, they are cozy, solid, and full of character. The bathroom looks like it would fit in well with the style.

One little gripe is that the shades of brown in the new room are all different.. and the tile, countertops, floor tiles, and the bath mat are all different textures and colors. It's a lot beter than before, though.. I love the cabinetry.
