Default A lofty expansion triples the size of a vacation house in the Berkshires

“This is a view house,” says architect Chad Floyd, of Centerbrook Architects and Planners in Connecticut, who rebuilt Sus an Adler’s Massachusetts retreat, set on a striking hillside in the Berkshires. “Capturing views of the verdant valley below and the mountains beyond was a key factor in its design.”

Nice McMansion to compensate for your tiny McPenis.

This is one huge vacation house! Love the kitchen & those staircase bookshelves.

Well given that the original house looked so damn ugly I have to say it is an improvement. As McMansions go this one at least hugs the terrain somewhat and fits in to the environment at least as well as the one it replaced-and is less ugly to boot. Parts of the interior I like, other parts I do not care for so much.
