    That's hella weird.

    The big bedside lamps seemed strangely monstrous and the white room had the feel of an elite hair salon.

    I will say it wasn't really ugly at all. Just strange.

    Althought the 19th-century Connecticut farmhouse in another thread has
    predominantly white furnishings, too, it's done much more tastefully than
    this one. Despite being almost all white, that one has an air of warmth
    and homeliness to it. This one has horrible ornaments on the walls and
    the stairs are almost industrial looking. Ugh.

    It's like they didn't want to commit to a single decorating theme and threw a bunch of elements from different decorative styles together at once. Might be good separately, but together (and as the only means of decoration throughout the whole house) they look ridiculous.
