Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn's home is on the market
Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn have listed their home in Marin County, California, about 18 miles north of San Francisco, for $15 milion. The Penns purchased the property in 1996 for $2.1 million, and spent two years rebuilding the original 1933 Spanish-style house.The manse doesn't appear to be listed publicly, but the WSJ said:
The 10,000-square-foot house was designed with hand-hewn wood-beamed ceilings and floors, stone fireplaces and hand-painted tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen. The two-story home has five bedrooms, a home office, an au pair suite, a gym, and a three-car garage. A two-bedroom guest cottage has its own two-car garage. There's also a pool, tennis court, gardens, and dog run.

I wonder if this means they're splitting up again?
I really hate the interior of the house. Something between national park lodge and the local La Quinta. Some people have more money than taste.
I hate the interior too.
The tiles, I think they are tiles, in the kitchen look like some ugly rug. And the hallway reminds me of the lodge in The Shining.
I guess the divorce is back on!
I like it. It's similar to some of the Spanish eclectic architecture that we have here in Dallas, and the interior is in keeping with the style of how these houses were originally built.
The style may not be to your taste but to me it looks like a pretty typical example of that style of architecture, which is one that I happen to like.
I think it's a fantastic house. They don't build them the way they used to and I'm glad they took the time to restore it rather than tearing it down and building something inferior and tacky in its place.
Love the exterior and the pool/grounds.

too much happening in too big a space
everything is hugely oversized, i'd feel like an Olsen twin in it.

I love the exterior. The inside is OK, except that the floors/carpeting are awful in every single room.
It's just too busy inside.
Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me….it only means the night is coming.
