    Default Richard Gere's home

Richard Gere has put his four-bedroom, four-bath property in the Palazzo Chupi building in New York's West Village on the market for nearly $18 million.

    Bath looks abit small? ^

The kitchen and bath both look small. Then again, that is just one bathroom out of four. I don't know, it doesn't seem that impressive for the $18 million asking price (the article says he bought it last September for $12 million). He never even moved in.

If I were rich enough to afford a home in the double-digit millions, I would get a place with a huge kitchen and master bathroom.

Sooo much potential not realized in this place. I bet you could do wonderful things with it though. But who the FUCK has 18 million? Damn! I guess someone from the UAE or Saudi Arabia or maybe an 'oil money' Russian might buy it. *bittur and jellus*

I saw this on another celebrity real estate blog and I loved it. I love the indoor pool and even the artwork in the pool area. The small, guest bathroom isn't perfect, but it has a cool sense of style with the window and the wonderful, vintage feeling tilework. The kitchen is smaller than most folks would like, but I refuse to cook, so it works just fine for me. The building where this is located is one of the new developments in NYC and is attacting several celebrities...however, since Gere never moved in I can guess that Gere was offered a highly discounted unit in exchange for using his name to generate publicity for the building...this is done quite a bit in upscale developments. Still, if given as a gift, I would accept gleefully!

I love it, personally... but with 18 million I'd go for something much better than this.

    Where is this place???

Interesting, to say the least. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'm thinking that the pictures perhaps don't do it justice..

    Edit: THATS IN NYC????? Surprising!
