Default Love it or hate it? Peacock frame

The peacock trend ($18) seems to still be in full effect, if this peacock frame from Urban Outfitters is any indication. The 3-x-5-inch fabric-covered frame may be just the thing for displaying that beloved pet portrait.

I'm not a fan of cross stitch, tacky as a bath full of chewed gum.

I could get a little old lady to cross stitch me one of these for a lot less than $18.

Too much going on in the pattern, too busy on the eyes. But it might look pretty if it were something like silk embroidery instead of cross-stich.
