    Default The $200,000 bath

Would you spend more than $200,0000 on this Malachite Baldi Bath Tub? Made of malachite, this luxury tub sits on 24-carat gold feet.

    Eww fuck no

Gold feet? How the miff is THAT possible? The weight of the tub alone would coase them to bend (gold is very maliable, esp better quality stuff) never mind water and a naked body.

Surely, the rich folks have better things to do with $200,000. Goes to show how one cannot buy good taste.

I read the description. The feet are gold plated. There must be something stronger underneath.

    There's also an amethyst version.

After the initial "ugh" reaction, the thing I wonder about is how quickly the water would cool. It's going to take a lot of thermal energy just to warm that mass of stone. The tub water would be cold in no time.

I guess. But you'd have to fill it with pure hot just to warm the stone!

Malachite us one of my favorite stones, but this is serious overkill.
