Mopping, followed closely by cleaning the bathtub.
If it wasn't so gross, I'd never mop and let the grime take it. Ditto for the tub - it'd be a rainforest.
So what household chore do you hate the most? Even worse than cleaning the toilet, for me it is DUSTING! Endless, senseless, just seems I am swirling it around and as soon as I am done the dust is BACK and on everything. I hate it with a passion. If I could have a maid do ONE THING..it would be dusting.
What about you?![]()

Scrubbing anything in the bathroom. I find it degrading. I usually delegate bathroom maintenance to the man though.
I love dusting. It requires the least amount of exertion of all the chores.
well, if i HAVE to do housework, then reaching my hand into sinkwater is THE grossest thing. i detest floaters
All the best,

I don't mind doing laundry or cooking - it's everything else I hate.

Dusting is just so mindless..endless..all encompassing. It covers every surface in every damn room..and then it just comes back. It makes me feel like Sisyphus..just endless and ongoing..over and over..just so dull and brain-deadening.
Cleaning toilets. Vacuuming. Dusting. Pretty much all of it, but those are the worst. I actually don't mind washing floors -- it's like baking a pie, I get a real sense of accomplishment from it.
I find most household chores fairly tolerable. I'm pretty OCD, so I sort of get a twisted pleasure from making sure my house is just right. I wake up early, put my Ipod on and get it all out of the way so I can start my day. Least liked is probably putting away clothes. Laundry is endless at times.
Other than that I've come to detest certain aspects of taking care of the garden, raking leaves, mowing etc.. and have resorted to paying a gardening service to manage it's upkeep.
When your daughter plays "House," she pretends to be an annoying doctor with a pill-addiction and a limp.
I'm lucky that my husband usually does the bathrooms and the vacuuming, but I usually clean a little after he cleans, if you know what I mean. And then I do everything else.
I'll come clean anyone's bath tubs out, I find it satisfying...that sounds like a sexual euphemism I guess.
My nightmare job would be ironing or drying up...just borrrrrring.
I should have made a poll. shit.
Cleaning the bathroom, hands down! Something within me just recoils in horror at having to confront and clean nothing but pubes, piss, and possible trace fecal matter. Ick!
I hate washing dishes the most, because it is so quickly undone. I have a dishwasher, but we're only two, so I usually can't fill it enough to justify using it.
Can't you just wear rubber gloves?
Gross, but, rubber gloves! I use them for everything. It definitely keeps the disgust factor down.
I have to admit I think of toilet brushes as dirty even when they've never been used.
Anything that involves cleaning up a mess that someone else made. My son's father would always leave spaghetti sauce fingerprints all over the kitchen, even if no spaghetti sauce was involved! Hated it!
