Cowboy builders bodged my kitchen floor

We had new lino laid today and the builders did such a bad fucking job that they're coming back on Friday to clean up their fucking mess. We didn't want the original ones...we used the fitting service at Allied Carpets (for those of you in the UK, BEWARE!!!!!) and god did they SUCK ASS.

I can't believe what a shit job they did. Those are only six photos out of 31 that I took of all the errors they made. I simply can't BELIEVE that anyone would have the audacity to charge MONEY for that.

We paid HUNDREDS of pounds. Hundreds. Actually, it cost us close to $1000 US to buy the lino and have it fitted. A fucking SCANDAL.

You should have seen one of them...a total slack-jawed CHAV. He had an UNDERBITE and didn't close his mouth once the entire time he was there. He also breathed through his mouth. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. The other one was a fast-talking northerner.

We wanted to not have them come back to our house, but the shop that sent them there insisted that they have a chance to fix it. If they don't fix it to our complete satisfaction, we are going to sue them. We've obviously already photographed the problems.

You may find they are sub-contractors, not employees, so you are probably throwing away more money trying to sue them (if you can track them down in the first place). Were they driving a white van?

They ALL drive white vans, A*O! You know that!

They are employees of that company, not sub-contractors, according to the person we spoke to yesterday.

Nah; it looks better now. This house's kitchen has always been a fucking disaster area. It is amazing what a low quality of workmanship people here are prepared to tolerate. I will never buy another fixer-upper. Ever. EVER.
