Paint color ideas
Okay, so we are having a really big party at the house in several weeks and I am wanting to paint inside before hand. My house is only 3 years old and when we moved in we painted our living room, hallway and dining room a dark gray (I love dark colors), we painted our kitchen a medium color brown (since our floors are brown and grey tile) and our master bedroom a deep wine color; I am happy with these rooms but I have 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a utility room that I want to get painted and I cannot come up with the schemes that I really want. I have a BIG paint wheel that I picked up and none of the colors really appeal to me.
Can you all give me some ideas and tell me colors that you have seen and really liked, please?
Two of my bathrooms have cream tiled floors and I want to paint them, since they have cream colored floors any color would work.
The other bathroom has the grey and brown tile in it, as does my utility room.
Ideas please??????

I think a medium taupe with creamy white trim would work.

With the grey and brown tile you could do a bittersweet chocolate brown. Three coats of Satin finish (less glossy than semi gloss). You'll get a mirror finish. Fun for a bath.
Cream colored tile you could do a dark tomato red. That might also work in the other bath.

Thanks for the ideas ladies. I am going to have to paint a wall to see what it looks like I think.
I am not good at house decorating like this. I can see outfits in my head but I can't do that with home interior.

Benjamin Moore has great colors and you can buy small samples. Their historical colors are gorgeous. I have Sienna Clay in my front and dining rooms and Garrison Red in my bedroom. I've been pretty happy with both colors. I think blue in the bathroom is always nice. If you have gray in your tile, some of the historical blue/gray colors might work for you.

go to Behr Paint and Wood Stain - House Paint and Wood Stains (i think).. it has a fun tool you can use to virtually paint rooms with their corresponding accent colors.
It was really helpful when i did my place, and my place looks fantastic

Yeah, we basically wanted to turn it into a warm coffee-house look.. warm colors on the wall, lots of black leather club chairs, brushed steel halogen light fixtures.. nice and urbane

That sounds a lot like our house at the moment. I have a lot of live plants thrown in all over the place too.
