i think it is pretty cool! not sure how long i could stay in there but i like it.
can't post pics because my computer's broken and i'm stupid
it's really cool. I'm always amazed by what people can do with shipping containers. The first time I encountered these houses I was living in Chile and an architect friend started a company specialized in making homes out of shipping containers, some of them are huge and really luxurious too.
The only thing I really don't like here is the use of the glass garage door on the inside. I totally get why they did it but I would have chosen something different. I would've gone with two black metal and glass doors and put them on tracks or something.
this is my friend's firm. they have some amazing projects.

I mean, you can tell they put a lot of effort into this, but there's no getting away from the fact that you're living in a very cramped space. I think very few people would truly be ok with that unless it's out of necessity or poverty. And if you're poor, all those fixtures and touches that make it nice are probably out of budget. (Unless you're a contractor yourself or are really good at DIY.)
Also, after Dexter, shipping container=murder box to me. But it's mainly the cramped space that makes it a big no for me.
I would definitely be okay living there, no problem at all, just not in Ohio. I have to stay west of the Rockies.
I think it's pretty cool too, but to me it's just a variation on all those tiny houses that were all over HGTV a few seasons ago.

the size is because they only used one shipping container. you can use a lot of shipping containers, remove entire sides, and make much larger structures.

ugh. maybe i am spoiled. but this is a lot of glass (which is typically fine) but the view sucks. SUX.
and the glass garage door is awful. glass works if you have a good view. but that is not this lot.
agree about the garage door.
this is a vacation rental (https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/36036989...sts=1&adults=1)
so i guess not that bad for a few days if you don't like small spaces.
I'd get the largest size I could find, which I think is the 40-foot container. I'd get two.

I like it too! But I would hang it facing outdoors.
