I like it too, but I may be heavily influenced by the fact that it's in Edinburgh.

Depressing and sterile for a family home, but if I could add some life to it I would love it.

I love it but it's all too "sand" - it needs more colour, and there's too much bleached wood. The windows are beautiful.

It could be a non-traditional family consisting of two humans and a cat, like mine lol.

But, I was uninspired and went with family instead of Scottish because it sounded repetitive.

Its too spartan for my tastes. Yes, and too beige.

Some wall art would make it homier.

I like it, it has a scandinavian vibe to it.
The fact that it's Edinburgh is even better

i cannot respect a house with two chairs serving as bedroom nightstands.Looks like a pretentious setting, not a real home.

I love it. The bones and architectural details are amazing and I like the wall colours and the muted palette throughout, very peaceful. It’s way too styled as it is but that’s for the shoot and it could easily look lived in. Needs more art on the walls.

    Things that annoy me:

Shit stacked on the radiator. NO.

Chairs as nightstands. Or maybe just these particular chairs. The same one sitting in the corner of the bathroom with towels on it doesn't bother me near as much.

A candle on top of a stack of books. NO again.

Ugly af hanging (ceiling) lamps, except for the one in the kitchen.

Ugly ladder in the fireplace room.

Hanging lamps draped over the FABRIC headboard.

No wall art whatsoever save one small fugly portrait that makes dual appearances over the stove in the kitchen and on top of one of the radiators in the room comtaining what looks like a cot from a vintage hospital/shelter. I understand living here might make one depressed, but are they deliberately trying to catch fire to the place?

Even if this decor wasn't fugly af it's not worth the fire risk.

That's a very modern looking toilet that looks particularly out of place. But hey, thank god they have a decent shitter. The bathroom and the kitchen are tolerable.

This is a family home? I feel sorry for this family.

I just noticed there's a painting above the stove. LOL, why?

Sorry, I actually read your comment but missed that! God! But also, it took me weeks to even notice it to start with! But I hadn't noticed that it was in too different spots until you pointed it out.

I get these places are supposed to be minimalist, but there is a reason why radiators and chairs aren't shelves and tables. And why you don't put candles on top of books.
