A piece of Hollywood history is up for grabs, the Playboy Mansion. But there's one big catch if you purchase the estate you get the notorious Hugh Hefner with it.

    Yes, you read that right.

You will be required to allow the 89-year old, Hugh Hefner, to live on the estate until he dies.

The Playboy Enterprises has listed the six-acre Holmby Hills estate for a whopping $200 million.

Yet, TMZ "real estate sources," state the true worth of the estate to be $80-90 million due to its run-down condition.

Those who are interested in purchasing the home will be allowed to tour the entire estate except for Hugh Hefner's bedroom.

According to Daily News, in 2011 Hefner allegedly undervalued his mansion when he took his company private, at that time it was worth $54 million. Now, Zillow estimates the estates worth to be $34 million.

It's certainly nice looking from the outside. However, you'd need to do a hazmat style cleaning on the entire property.

Hazmat and drug sniffing dogs. That place has got to be like a pharmacy. Viagra, ecstasy, roofies, etc.

I don't think it sounds like he has much time left, either.

Supposedly, if you shine a UV light on the grotto, it glows almost as brightly as the outer corona of the Sun.

The entire place is probably a petri dish of pathogens and bodily fluids.

I also wonder if money is an issue. Seems like an odd situation. Is it common to sell a place while you're still alive but will still reside there without money problems being a factor? Hasn't it been suggested that the place is in disrepair because he can't afford the upkeep?

i know of a similar situation that happened locally. the guy i know of wanted to sell his house, but on the condition that he be able to stay in it as long as he wanted. he was older (>65) but did not have family who wanted to live with him and he did not want to go to a senior community. it was a big house, not playboy mansion-size but ultra-large for here, more than 4000 sq ft no one took him up on it.

Isn't this kind of situation what reverse mortgages are for? Bank buys your house while you're still alive and you can stay there till you die and live off the equity money?

^^ Exactly. But that just adds to the idea that it's in such disrepair and there's money problems. He's famous and I doubt he'd want to admit he needed help. I mean, he's 89 ... how many years could he really have left.

I heard that Burt Reynolds is going through a similar situation, and no, I am not kidding.
