I love about 90% of it but it needs decluttering and I would have to get rid of a lot of useless knick-knacks and obnoxious shabby chic touches.
love the space itself, great floors and architectural details.

Magazines and books stacked like that just makes me convinced that the people never read them. I don't know anyone who likes to have to play Jenga every time they go to pull out a book.

I have stacks of books that tend to fall down if a door is slammed. It's completely disfunctional, I admit, but until we move to a bigger home <side eye to the inhibitor on the couch next to me> I'm not going to improve one damn thing around here!

I'd need a better kitchen than this house provides. Cooking in that kitchen wouldn't be easy.

Too cluttered and what's with all the portraits of dead white guys? But I would love it if it was emptied out a bit (a lot).

I love the portraits of dead white guys, it's the useless knick knacks that bug me, and the touches of preciousness.

A few here and there maybe, but would you want that old boys' club staring down at you in bed? And mix it up with a few women and kids maybe.

I generally like historical portraits like that but old painted portraits also tend to spook me sometimes, and in this case, I think the lot of them lend themselves to the creepy vibe I'd get in much of this place.

I don't like dead animal heads on walls or the cluttered kitchen.

The only room I think I actually like is the white room with the double glass doors.

The abuse of books in this house is horrifying.

Why is there a noose above the bed? In case someone has a sudden desire to commit suicide?

Here's a question - why ship in all those stuffed heads of N. American and N. European animals to Australia?

This guy collects one or two too many things...the collection of antique photos of dead white guys, the books, the animal heads...all clustered together to make some kind of statement. The problem is the statement it makes is, "I'm fu&&king nuts!"
