House Blurring Boundaries in Colombia by Arquitectura en Estudio
This elegant and breezy residence completed by Arquitectura en Estudio in Villeta (100 km away from Bogotá, the capital of Colombia) blurs the lines between the interior and the exterior. Design was influenced mostly by the surrounding site (the lush vegetation of the mountains) and the ever-present warm weather. Funny thing, the property has no windows or doors, only a carefully knit timber screen, which can completely open or close at will (adding a sense of privacy). The interior comprises a widely spread living-dinning-kitchen area, four bedrooms and several bathrooms. The living room area, connected to the swimming pool and the decks, spills into the landscape.
