    No. The "all white" does not make your home look cool or minimalist. It makes you look anal retentive. Especially when you extend it to the kids room. I'll bet the drawings displayed were chosen to macth the few green accents.

    i don't mind the white although i'd prefer it if the floors weren't painted white too.
    i find white and wood and cool toned neutrals are far more relaxing and welcoming than vibrant colours that i personally find jarring. different strokes i guess.

    this is a bit too white but given a choice between this and super colourful, i'll take this.

    I just spent all day Sunday painting my brother's childhood bedroom white - the whole damn room was like sky or powder blue previously. And dirty, chipped and marked up. I just picked up cans of flat ceiling paint and started going to town on the ceiling and walls once I had patched and stain blocked them. Once I'm done with the second coat this weekend, the room is going to be fairly white, but not stark white. I hope a nice Dutch family buys the place.
