The death stairs of doom leading to the claustrophobic bed loft. They did use the space well, but not for me.

I like this one,but those stairs? No way. Bedspace seems way small.

Can you imagine getting out of bed and trying to navigate those stairs while half asleep?

lol I laugh every time I see the phrase 'death stairs'. Funny but true!
This is a great use of space and while it's too white, I get why. Opens it up a lot more. However, I am opposed to living in a mouse hole with a hovering mattress in it. Nope.

I imagine changing the bedding is quite an enjoyable chore too.
    olivia and palta like this.

They explicitly provide space for "Kok" right next to the kitchen sink. So, you can clean up afterward.

My first thought, too. Do they change the bedding downstairs and then haul the mattress back up the Stairs of Doom? Other than that, I LOVE this apartment. Perfect for me, while the dog, husband and telephone live next door.

Okay, I do have a serious question, though. If you take a look at the floor plan, they show the bathroom's dimensions as being about 3.1 m (10 feet) long by 1 m (3.3 feet). Is that symbol on the right side of the bathroom a shower head? Is there really enough room here for a shower stall, or do you need to go out in the hallway to take a shower in some communal bathroom?

On the right side of the bathroom is a shower head, correct. I can't figure out what the small square close to the toilet represents.

I lived with a shower like this, no stall or curtain and slight concave to a drain underneath your feet. The most important thing is keeping the drain clear of hair, yep, learned that the hard way.

So, nobody can use the bathroom if somebody is taking a shower? You can't even have a shower curtain in there?

I love the wood floors and exposed brick. I also like the little dining area. The bed loft would be a nightmare and I'm not sure about the bathroom.

My Dutch ex'a bathroom in Amsterdam was like that - slight concave and a drain right on the the floor, and tiled floor and walls. Sink and toilet on one side, shower on the other end. He could have had a curtain up there if he'd wanted to but he didn't and you didn't really need it either.

i had a loft bed in one of my previous flats. Making the bed wasn't an issue but then I'm a no fuss, fitted sheet, duvet cover and 2 pillows kind of girl. I would take the clean bedding up there, rip the dirty bedding off the bed and toss it down, and put the clean linens on the mattress.
